Four Tragedies. One Stage. Infinite Courage.
In "Mad House," performed at JKK, Jaipur to great media acclaim, our children brought together Shakespeare's tragedies — Hamlet, Othello, Lady Macbeth — and Greek fury of Medea, all reimagined through a psychological lens. Hamlet was not one prince but three personas: the indecisive Dane, Arjuna on his moral battlefield, and Sisyphus eternally pushing the boulder of doubt. Othello became a study in paranoia. Lady Macbeth unraveled from ambition turned inward. Medea was not a monster but a woman pushed past reason. Together, they became the modern mind — questioning, collapsing, rebuilding meaning in a world that offers therapy instead of truth. And our children pulled off this incredibly complex performance. They did not just act. They lived inside centuries-old minds and made them beat afresh. Against every expectation, they turned tragedy into triumph — and the world took notice.
